    What a Romance Hockey Legend. To see a franchise team build from the start and what all it takes. I know this is one of several in a series. Even if there weren't books to follow this could be a stand alone. I don't recommend it though. Once you read "Skating on Thin Ice" you will want to know the rest of the story. Ethan Parker is such an up standing citizen with great values. He hates to deceive those he will come close to but he has to for the greater good. Not just for personal gain but for gain of those in the Seattle area. Lauren is a woman trying to make it in a man's world. She has been burned before and it takes a lot for her to trust. Once you've gained her trust she given it openly but if you lose it, it's gone. Will it be gone forever? Can these two work out their misgivings for the greater good or even for love? Jami Davenport is an amazing author. Her writings make you feel the emotions her characters are going through, good or bad. She makes you see the story as it unfolds. I love her writings to say the least. I recommend this book and many others by her. She won't disappoint you.

    When Ethan decided to buy a hockey team and move it to Seattle his dream was finally coming true. Then the owner put a gag order in place so he goes under cover. Little did he know he would fall in love with Lauren the teams assistant director of players personal . When his secret came out he really had to work not only to win her back but to convince the team moving was for the best.

    Skating on Thin Ice is all about fighting for what you believe in. On and off the ice. Ethan and Lauren are both very passionate about hockey. Ethan wanting to move the team to Seattle. And Lauren wanting to save the FL team. Their passion for hockey brings them together in an unlikely team. A great story with great characters full of passion and heart. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
