    Oh. My. Goodness. Can Cristin Harber tell a story!!! I fell in love with Cash and Nic in Garrison's Creed and was thrilled to learn that Cristin intended on giving us a prequel to share their history. I knew from reading Garrison's Creed that Sweet Girl wasn't going to have an HEA - we get that in GC - and because of that I was a mix of thoroughly enjoying the beginning stages of their relationship and anxiously wanting to avoid the pain I knew was coming at the end. I loved experiencing the story from both Cash and Nic's POV - and while I thought that I'd be more emotionally drawn to Cash's reaction at the end... it was Nic's actions at the end that completely gutted and crushed me! However, I'll take the pain because the beauty and the fun of the good times (and their first date!) made up for it! Thanks, Cristin, for sharing this prequel with us!! Whether it's read after or before Garrison's Creed, Sweet Girl enhances and provides a stronger emotional depth and connection to Cash and Nic. I couldn't help but appreciate the drama and the connection between the two of them in Garrison's Creed after experiencing Sweet Girl

    I hate movies that drop the Fbomb every other word. I know people think it sets the tone to use coarse words...it really just shows a lack of imagination & vocabulary. I think a romance can be told without using coarse words...constantly. Sorry I just couldn't enjoy reading this book..

    I really enjoyed this book and look fwd to Garrisons Creed. I laughed, loved, and ok nearly weeped for Cash's heartbreak. I enjoyed that the love of his life had always been right in front of him and they "found" one another and connected.

    Nicola and Cash are best friends who have been in love with each other since childhood. When they finally decide to act on their love, they are ripped apart by circumstances beyond their control. This book was really good. The ending is absolutely heartbreaking. But I'm looking forward to the next book to find out how this story plays out.

    I read this before I read "Garrison's Creed" and I really enjoyed it. I was in the mood to read a sappy love story and that is what I got. When I was in the mood for a strong woman and action and violence, "Garrison's Creed" satisfied that need. Read this book before you read "Garrison's Creed" and, btw, there is very little action. Like maybe 20 pages worth or less. Sorry!

    First book I read by Cristin Harber and I loved it. The ending had me in tears and I couldn't put up the follow up fast enough. Cash and Nicola's beginning love story will melt your heart and then have it aching. Definitely recommend!
